A neat and fun game for a game jam scope. Once I figured out how to play, it was enjoyable. The UI could use some work, maybe add animations for buttons but overall, good job!

Thank you very much for your comment, we appreciate it very much. Yes we had many things in mind and a pending list, but that’s how the jams work. We lacked VFX, SFX, animations and many things due to time issues, we prioritized the idea and the concept. Even so thank you very much!

Dang! great job. Once I figured it out it was fun. I was afraid to blink! the music was great!

hahahaha, I understand! yes it's difficult, but that's what we were looking for, the bravest players who try it more than once will be able to discover everything we proposed. The essence of roguelikes. Even so there is still a lot to polish in the project, but I'm glad you liked it and thanks for the comment about the music, I'm the musician ;)

Finally got to try your game! Once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed the straightforward mechanics. Love the vibe of the game :)

Thank you so much! (Love your art btw)

We expected that the game was going to be kind of tough to get into but seeing that everyone is breaking that wall and actually playing runs of our game is amazing! Thanks for taking the time to play it! <3

HI, I am a fan of rhythm games, grew up playing OSU and I was even in top3 in my region for some time xd

Great game! Love how polished it feels, every summon has its own sound effect and sound effect represent rhythm patterns, really cool! Reminded me of Rhythm Doctor a bit, which is a compliment :P

OMG yes!

One of our inspirations has been Rhythm Doctor.

Thank you very much for the feedback.

We had a hard time connecting all the systems, but I think it was a good idea.

We had a lot more planned and a lot more polished, but that's what we came up with. thank you very much!

oh i'm another fellow addict to rhythm games and the fact that our game reminded you of Rhythm Doctor made my whole year!

We really appreciate your comment!

Thanks for giving it a try! <3

Thanks so much for the feedback!

We've been working hard on synchronization. We'd made a rhythm game for a previous jam, but it was just music and notes. Now we've gone further and had to synchronize the background music with the concatenated clips of the different creatures, plus the background RPG and everyone's attacks so that each sound hits the beats.

Thank you so much for the feedback. It makes us very happy to know that all the background work was appreciated <3

really great game! so well polished, I love the unique sounds for each summon, and love the presentation. I am however bloody awful at it, haha. Tyring to find the best strategy but I struggle a lot with stat based games. going to add it to my collection and get a longer session in later!
fantastic entry! well done

Oh thank you so much! We're glad that you enjoyed all the details we put on the game <3

I'm awful at stat based games too so i had to ask the programmer to tell how to beat it hahahah

I recommend trying to play it with Spacebar instead of the mouse. To me, it's easier to play!

I really appreciate your comment.

Lavin, our musician and sound engineer, invested a ton of time and dedication, not only designing each pattern and the background music, but also explaining to me (someone who isn't at all in tune with music) how everything should sound and why nothing can be out of time, not even the creature attacks.

When we proposed the game idea on the first day of the jam, we were surprised that he agreed to this torture.

Well, the game balance isn't very polished, so don't worry if you can't get very far. We were short on time for that.

I recommend playing an 8-second zombie on the first turn and then gradually playing two creatures per turn, always including one that's strong on life.

What a polished game i really like the art and idea.

Thank you very much!!!!!

We had a lot more content to add but we didn't have the time, also we would have liked to polish a lot more the rhythm game. Still, with the time we had I think it was something nice. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for playing and for the review.

We spent a lot of time on the details, including screen filters, animations, text fonts, and sounds. That's why we ran short on time to balance the units and enemies, but we don't regret it at all. xD

Really fun gameplay and good of mix rhythm and turn based combat.

Only issue for me there is not visual feedback about our clicking I couldnt get when it was counted.

But except that was really fun and cool idea and I really enjoyed ! "Excellent" sfx was really funny btw ! :D

Thank you very much for your comment!

Yes, we have it in mind, we didn't get to the VFX part for the pacing system, but we were able to finish the concept, thank you very much for playing!

Thanks for trying the game.

That "EXCELLENT" gave us lots of laughs and the mental health we needed to finish the game.

Lavin, our musician and sound engineer, gave us the idea, and we quickly recorded some voices to test out. We loved the results.

P.S.: I'm the Excellent voice xD

It's a fun addition. It's generally nice to have things with a story like this in the games :D

haha forgot to post the win screen (Armored zombie is busted) sorry for the notif

yeah you did it! well done!
Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much for trying it out and even winning it.

We're just now noticing the balance issues between creatures and key mechanics that we'll need to patch in the near future.

Honestly, we don't spend much time testing (a small bug to fix in future jams), so thank you so much for the feedback. We'll compile a list of all the things we'll be tweaking once the jam is over.

Was very fun and i liked the UI, loved the unit variety and the feel of the game
nitpicks:
-Lack of feedback when hitting a note
-The fade out and in of the song was kinda annoying (gamejam ik)

-The ability to not skip a turn or i'm just blind as hell

other than that very enjoyable

Thank you very much for your comments.

Yes, we took everything into account, the gamejam problem made us take priority decisions. Even so, we have been able to add the “roguelike” factor, items and more things to make the combat very varied. We still have to polish it, but the idea is well thought out.
- Lavin (the one who made the music and game audio)

we appreciate it very much THANK YOU, we are super exhausted hahahaha

Oh thank you so so much for your feedback!

We worked extreamely hard on this one and, until the last minute, we were still feeling very insecure about the game but it's really good to hear that you enjoyed it!

Thank you <3

I'd say the work paid off, the game feels polished despite being a gamejam submission i only gave nitpicks just to give you what i felt while i was playing, gl with the placements
